The family owned several properties in London, and occupations include an export merchant (Willam James Skeel), apothecaries (David and Thomas Skeel and William James) and teachers (Emily Jane and Maria Elizabeth Skeel). The Smith family are likely to be relatives of the Skeel and James families. |
