Admin HistoryThe Executive Committee and the General Committee were both standing committees of the Westfield College Union Society. The Executive Committee consisted of the President, Junior Treasurer, Secretary, a representative of the National Union of Students (NUS), and two members of Committee, and met at least twice a term. The purpose of the Executive Committee was to prepare the agenda for College and Students' meetings, and for the allocation of funds of the Union to its affiliated Societies. The General Committee consisted of the Executive Committee and one representative from every affiliated Society. Its function was to consider the admission of new clubs and societies to the Union, to authorise the expenditure of Union funds for other purposes, and to discuss any other business referred to it from the Executive Committee.
