| Admin History | The Education Committee was established in 1898 as a sub-committee of the Council. Its initial terms of reference were to consult with the Mistress over the appointment of non-resident staff. The Council minutes for the meeting held on 10 Mar 1922 record the decision to dissolve the Education Committee and states that the Board of Principal Teachers, formerly the Education Board, would advise Council on 'all academic matters and the management of the College generally'. |
