Admin HistorySir Edward Grey, 1st Viscount Grey of Fallodon, born in 1862, was a British Liberal statesman. He served as Foreign Secretary 1905-1916; ambassador to the United States 1919-1920; leader of the Liberal Party in the House of Lords 1923-1924. Grey married Frances Dorothea 'Dorothy' Widdrington in 1885; after her death in February 1906 he married Pamela Adelaide Genevieve Wyndham, in 1922. There were no children from the two marriages; died, 1933.
