Obverse is an engraving of two men shaking hands depicted with various symbols of arts and industry, a ship, a globe, an easel, a bust etc. The edge is engraved with the inscription ‘ Silver Medal awarded to HR Batchelor, Junior.’ In original case with lining and details of maker; WJ Taylor Medallist, 10 Red Lion Street, London.
