DescriptionBound volume of signed printed minutes of meetings of the People's Palace Committee, 22 January 1909 to 18 July 1910. Includes a handwritten index at the front.

This Committee dealt with the recreational work of the People's Palace, and issues discussed include: the allocation of the Library, the Winter Garden, and the rooms adjoining and underneath for the recreational side of the People's Palace; the appointment of Frank Idle as Conductor of the People's Palace Choral and Orchestral Societies; and that to increase attendance on Sunday afternoons, they would no longer be entirely devoted to organ recitals, and would now be called Sunday Afternoon Concerts.
