The Sub-Committee of the East London College Council were also present at this meeting, at which the future of the East London College, and how its expansion was being prevented by the limitations of the site, were discussed.
It was agreed that a letter should be sent to the Drapers' Company signed by the Chairman of the Board of Governors and the Chairman of the East London College stating that they were in agreement that a Royal Charter should be applied for jointly by the East London College and the People's Palace. |
