Admin HistoryThe Women's Christian College, Madras, was founded 7th July 1915 as a joint venture of 12 missionary societies from England and the United States of America. Former Westfield College Resident Lecturer, Miss Eleanor McDougall, was appointed as the first Principal. Today (2010) it is affiliated with the University of Madras.
