Admin HistoryHermes was first established 17 March 1892 with columns appearing in the Common Room every three weeks. The first printed issue in July 1892 was made from a selection of these papers. The magazine was initially produced by Westfield College Magazine Committee, and from 1952 by the Westfield College Association, being published once or twice a year. Hermes was for both current and former students of Westfield College. From 1968 the magazine was called Hermes Newsletter and in 1992, to mark the merger of Queen Mary College and Westfield College, it was renamed Winged Hermes.
